Aluminium 1100 Hex Bars consist of 99.0% pure aluminium, with small amounts of copper (0.05–0.20%), manganese (0.05%), and silicon (0.10%). This specific blend provides excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and superb machinability. With a tensile strength that ranges from 90–140 MPa in the annealed (O) temper, these bars offer outstanding formability and weldability. Although they are non-heat-treatable, they can be easily cold-worked, allowing Aluminium 1100 to retain its mechanical properties and appearance even in tough environments.
