Aluminium 1100 Fittings are composed of 99.0% pure aluminium, with small amounts of alloying elements like copper (0.05–0.20%), manganese (0.05%), and silicon (0.10%). This unique blend guarantees excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and impressive formability. With a tensile strength of around 90–140 MPa in annealed conditions, these fittings are perfect for low-pressure applications. Although they aren’t heat-treatable, Aluminium 1100 is highly workable, maintaining strength and stability while allowing for easy fabrication through welding, bending, and shaping.
