Aluminium 1050 Forgings contain at least 99.5% pure aluminium, with small amounts of silicon, iron, copper, manganese, magnesium, zinc, and titanium. This alloy provides excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, and high thermal and electrical conductivity. It typically has a tensile strength of 60–100 MPa and a Brinell hardness of about 20 HB. Although non-heat-treatable, it can be cold worked and annealed to increase strength. The alloy’s combination of purity and flexibility makes it ideal for forming and fabrication processes.
